Founded in the 70's by Dr. Joseph Dello Russo, New Jersey Eye Center (NJEC) became the first eye care center in New Jersey that treats all eye conditions by offering specialty doctors, an optical shop, the first ASC in the Northeast, and by having cataract surgery as an in-office procedure. Our ambulatory surgical center was the first of its kind and led the way to the spread of outpatient surgery options in other specialties as well.
