- Maintains A safe enviorment for the patient
- Provides or assists with full or partial bath in bed or in the bathroom
- Assists with patients personal grooming including : Care of hair, Teeth & mouth, Dressing, Shaving, And nail care
- Prepares and serves meals according to the patients dietry requirements and assists patient with feeding
- Assists patient onto and off the bedpan, commode or toilet
- Assists patient with walking and with transfers from bed to chair or wheelchair. Field nurse supervisor will assess transfers for both patient & employee safety
- Assists with pre-poured medications ordered by the doctor. Certified homemaker/Home health aides by law are not permitted to dispense medications
- Follows orders abd keeps simple records are instructed by the field nurse supervisor, who consults with the physician and family.
